Resins are the oldest and most traditional form of incense. Frankincense, Myrrh, Copal, herbs, essential oil, and wood bark are carefully blended in accordance with traditional recipes. These powders and resins must be gently roasted over a incense charcoal or hot surface.

The Pure Resin Incenses are packaged as 4 ounce individual fragrances for 15.00 each, or a sampler of eight 1 ounce bags for 25.00

Frankincense – Also known as Olibanum, Frankincense is the sticky resin from the African Boswellia tree. Treasured for centuries, Frankincense was once sacred to the Egyptian God of the Sun. This is a natural antiseptic.

Myrrh – Very dark and bittersweet, Myrrh was often used as a funerary incense. Myrrh and remarkable antibacterial properties, and was called the Tears of Isis by the ancient Egyptians. Myrrh trees are native to Somalia.

Copal – Copal trees are grown all throughout interior Mexico and South America. Copal was given as an offering to Kings and to the Sun.

Dragons Blood – Pure Dragons Blood resin incense is a red tree sap that has been in continuous use since ancient times as varnish, medicine, incense, and dye. It is used to increase the potency of spells for protection, love, wealth, banishing and sexuality.

Black Benzoin – Also called Benzoin Sumatra, this resin is dark and pungent

Red Benzoin – Brighter and sweeter in fragrance, this resin is native to Asia and called Benzoin Siam

Rosin - A very mild and neutral resin that blends well with other ingredients
